Mustard Turkey Marinade

1/2 cup Dijon-style mustard

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

 

Combine all ingredients in large bowl or bag. Add turkey. Marinate for 30 min. to overnight, refrigerated. Grill, brushing with leftover marinade.

 

Suzi’s Apple Crisp

(From Suzi Cooking With the Seasons)

5-6 baking apples, peeled and sliced

3/4 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup oats

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 teasp cinnamon

1/2 teasp nutmeg

whipped cream or ice cream to serve

 

Place apples into greased 8 x 8” tin (or foil loaf tin for bbq).

Mix everything else together until crumbly.

Spread over apples

Bake 180C/350F (or covered bbq) for about 25 minutes.

Serve warm with whipped cream and or icecream.
