Quick Cranberry Salad

This is a recipe my mother used to make on Thanksgiving when I was a kid. Everyone liked the cranberry salad as it almost tasted like a dessert. We served it with the turkey instead of cranberry dressing
1 package of mixed fruit gelatin1 cup hot water
1 8 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
2 cans mandarin orange slices drained
½ cup chopped walnuts
Mix gelatin according to package directions Add cranberry sauce to hot gelatin mixture. Add cans of sliced mandarin oranges. Fold in ½ cup chopped walnuts. Pour into 4 or 5-inch mold or small bowl. Let it cool and set in the refrigerator for a few hours. Serve with turkey on Thanksgiving.
